Knits and Leather and Trends and Winter/Fall
Cardigans, fashion, in fashion, Knits, leather jackets, silk blouses, Trend, Trends, winged sleeves, Winter/Fall
What have I fallen in-love with this winter season (apart from my spunky boyfriend)? Oh-so-much!
- Over-sized Knits: Oh-so-comfy! and not to mention warm on those chilly winter mornings. I have a cute brown knit cardi with to-your-elbow winged sleeves. The shorter sleeves may not be too practical, but they sure do look great. I team it with a black long-sleeve top underneath and synch it in with a wide waist belt.
- Silk Blouses: They spunk up any outfit. And what I love about them is how they move with the flow. Dress them up or dress them down, play the field sisters!
- Leather Jackets: I must admit, I am still on the look out for that jacket (and I will know it when I see it), but the leather jacket is this seasons ultimate buy. They’re expensive, but totally worth it! And chances are they’ll out last you!
What is your favourite buy this season? Or what do you have your eye on?

Cocktail and Dresses and Jay Godfrey
Bloomingdales, classy, crave, design, dress, elegant, fashion, Godfrey, Jay, Jay Godfrey, maxi, simple, simplicity
I adore dresses, so today I am starting the count down of my six most craved glam dresses. So let’s start with Jay Godfrey’s one shoulder bow dress:
So, why do I love it? Well, it’s super maxi and elegant, which means you can show off your amazing legs whilst looking amazingly classy at the same time (a rarity in women these days). It’s totally feminine with its coral pink colour, soft silk/lycra fabric and gorgeous strap-bow. The big bow has been in for a while now, yet it is often worn totally wrong. This design shows a way how it should be worn: not too OTT in size and exquisitely placed on the side strap. This also leads to another fashion-love of mine at the moment, the one-strap shoulder dress (love them!).
I personally wouldn’t team this dress up with a large amount of accessories, or else it will look over the top and lose it’s elegance, not to mention killing out the simple design of the dress. A cute soft-gold clutch would do the trick.
As for shoes? Simple, soft gold (NOT bright gold) strap shoes. Again, we don’t want to overpower the dress with the footwear.
So remember, the dress is the statement in this occasion.

Adidas and Comfort Wear
Adidas, boxers, chic boxers, Comfort, crystal, cute, fleece, hoodie, hoodies, surf brand, surf shop, thigh-high socks, Trefoil, ugg boots, uggs
One thing that could never go out of fashion for comfort is your classic styled fleece ‘hoodie’. Personally, I like them a bit bigger than my normal size because:
1. The more fabric, the more there is to love and the more comfort; and,
2. They tend to shrink just that little bit in the wash after a while.
I bought this Adidas Trefoil Hoodie in crystal (as shown in the picture above). It’s nice and thick and keeps me extra comfy and warm. I find the best places to find a good hoodie is usually your local surf shop (I have tons of surf-brand ones: Billabong, Roxy, Rusty, you name it). They look ultra cute as well! I like to wear mine with thigh-high socks, uggs and chic boxers. Great for a night in!

Accessories and Knits and Winter/Fall
beanie, boutique, buy, buy online, design, endless knit scarf, fall, fashion, fave, favourite, gloves, knit, Online, orange, scarf, scarves, winner, winter, winter fashion, Witchery
One thing I love about these cold winter days is the excuse to snuggle with a cute boy. However, if there isn’t a cute boy within your 50 metre range, then don’t panic. Wrapping yourself in a thick warm scarf, an adorable beanie and matching gloves to boot will be a rewarding substitute.
One of my fave scarves ever is this beautiful deep orange endless knit scarf from one of my most adored boutiques, Witchery, for just $39.95(AU). It is fabulously thick and warm, and the endless design is a winner as I can chuck it around my neck without having two awkward ends hanging limp. It is one of those throw-on items that never looks bad and it doesn’t take an hour just to get it sitting right, not to mention adjusting it silly through out the day. It is also available in black, almond or grey if orange isn’t your most flattering colour (I love this orange because it livens up a dull dark winter outfit and gives a glow to my less tanned winter skin).

Dolce & Gabbana and Leather and Shoes
celebrities, celebrity, celebs, Christian Louboutin, Chunky, Cravings, Dolce & Gabbana, expensive, Gladiators, Mary-Kate, Online Shopping, Sandals, Sexy, Shoes, Trend
I just ordered a pair of these new cravings online (can not wait until they arrive, and hopefully they fit). I was originally eyeing off a pair of red soled Christian Louboutin sandals, but considering they were over $1500(AU) (YIKES!) I decided to go with the Dolce & Gabbana pair. These chunky babies have been out on the feet of pretty much all the stylish celebs, including Mary-Kate. They’re just so edgy and chunky; nothing like anything else in my wardrobe, that’s for sure. They remind me of gladiators; very sexy gladiators!
Black shiny leather is totally in!

Evening Wear and Marchesa
beautiful, boutique, dinner party, dress, embroidery, favourite, lace, love, Marchesa, quality, romance, romantic, strapless
I had a dinner party last weekend, which is just the perfect excuse for a new outfit; though, I decided to stick with an old favourite:
This Marchesa strapless dress is just exquisite. I found it in a boutique about a year ago. Every time I see it in my robe I fall in love all over again and can’t help but run my hand over the stunning embroidery. You can’t see it in the picture, but its back it rather low, which is a bonus (I love low-backed dresses). It’s just so romantic and the lace is top quality. Beautiful, right?

Elizabeth Arden and Skin Care
bargain, Clarins, cleanser, Elizabeth Arden, exfoliant, Facial Wash, gel cream, Green Tea, hydrate, hydration, Johnson's, moisturizer, Myer, replenish, Sensitive Skin, skin, Skin Care, soap free, young, youth
This stuff is the best. It’s a Replenishing Moisture Gel-Cream which belongs to Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Skincare range. I use it every night and morning, after cleansing. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated throughout the day. I bought mine from Myer, but I’m sure many good stores sell it, for under $40AU, which is just a bargain for such a great product. I’ve used many different moisturizers including top-of-the-range Clarins, though I found it a little too rich for my skin. This one is not just a cream, it’s a gel, which is nice and light on younger skin. I definitely recommend for you to try it if you haven’t already found the right moisturizer for you.
Other facial products I recommend include:
– Johnson’s Sensitive Skin Facial Wash (soap free), a cleanser.
– Natio Gentle Facial Scrub, an exfoliant (I also like Clarins light exfoliant).
